Shipping a car from Australia to New Zealand

Get in touch with a shipping provider about one month in advance if you are planning to ship your car, motorbike or caravan from Australia to NZ, or vice versa. McCulloughs sails direct to Australia, and the whole process usually takes four to eight days.  You can choose either Roll-On-Roll-Off (RORO) or container shipping methods to NZ from most major ports in Australia.

Shipping a car from the UK to New Zealand

We handle weekly sailings to and from the UK; shipping a vehicle from the United Kingdom to New Zealand takes between 32 and 42 days, depending on whether you use container shipping or a RORO service. We commonly ship motorhomes that have been purchased direct from the UK by New Zealanders, as well as car imports and the vehicles of people moving to New Zealand.

Shipping a car from USA to New Zealand

Our partners can pick up your vehicle in the US and ship to New Zealand on our direct weekly service. From Los Angeles, it will take 14 to 28 days for your car, motorbike, RV or boat to arrive in NZ.

Importing a car from Japan to New Zealand

One of our most frequent requests is to assist with the importing or shipping of cars from Japan to New Zealand. Our sailings from Japan take between 13 and 23 days depending on whether your vehicle is container shipped or RORO. We are able to ship between most major ports in Japan and all ports in NZ.
